From Athens, follow the Moria Motorway (E65/A7) — a high-standard, signposted, toll-free highway. The route passes through Corinth, Tripoli and ends in Kalamata. Without traffic, 2.5 hours.
Caution in August: There is increased traffic in Corinth on Friday afternoon and Sunday evening. If you are traveling on a Friday, depart before 15:00 or after 20:00.
